A Helpful, Hands-On Approach
Having grown up in a small Idaho town, I was taught to help others and that money does not grow on trees. If I thought I needed something, I had to find a way to earn it. From shoveling snow to selling nightcrawlers to buy a bike for myself, I learned the value and importance of hard work. With this in mind, I earned my way through college, and I learned to fix things that don’t work instead of just replacing them. To this day, I enjoy doing things with my hands, and I want everything to work properly.
My Business Background
Thirty years in banking taught me to earn the trust of others by always doing what’s right for the client. This has proven to be the most satisfying approach to business.
I spent half of my time in banking as a money manager for investments and trust departments, and this continued to impress upon me the importance of always putting the customer first. I took on the role of a Registered Investment Advisor for my last 12 years in the banking industry, and this taught me that detailed research is critical to being successful as an investor.
All of these lessons and values have become core components of my dedicated work as an RV inspector.
My Personal Love for RVs
Our spare time has been spent RVing and fishing on the Oregon Coast. We have owned almost every type of RV in our attempt to find the perfect one. We have personal experience with everything from a camper to the latest Newmar Dutch Star Class A. We understand that it’s always a challenge to find the right RV because everyone’s needs change over time.
Why I Became an RV Inspector
I have learned that I was initially naive about the many aspects of owning and operating an RV. I have learned through decades of ownership that there are many common problems that will show up in an RV sooner or later. By performing RV inspections, I want to help you make an informed decision about your most important recreational purchase.
I was also inspired to launch Pacific RV Inspection Services after I purchased a Newmar Dutch Star that was not in the condition the dealer had promised. It became clear that the dealer had not conducted a thorough RV inspection, and this caused me to spend a lot of time and money repairing the vehicle. I want to help other RV enthusiasts and first-time buyers avoid making the same mistake by providing detail-oriented RV inspections.
